The judges were impressed by Good Mela's ethical company ethos. The makeup company has pledged to never include aluminium or its compounds within any of its products to make sure all products are kind to skin. The company also houses a community of 'Melababes' catering to its global fanbase of customers in the United States, Canada, Caribbean, Africa and Europe. Good Mela also donates a percentage of all profits to the research of reproductive dysfunctions within women as certain metals found within common beauty brands are linked to reproductive dysfunctions. Its long terms goal is to continue to create high quality products whilst driving change in the beauty community by funding research into reproductive illnesses.
